How to Crop an Amazon Shipping Label PDF for 4x6 Printing
Updated
Amazon's shipping-label PDF puts the label and the tax invoice on one page. To print just the labels, especially on a 4x6 thermal printer, you need to cut out the label area for every order. Doing that by hand takes hours; this takes seconds.
Before you start
Download the label and invoice PDF from Seller Central. Use the original file: the tool looks for the layout Amazon generates, so a screenshot or a scanned copy will not work.
Steps
- Open the Amazon Label Crop tool and drop the PDF.
- The labels are found and cropped automatically. You see them grouped by SKU with the number of orders for each.
- Choose what to add to each label: SKU, quantity, and whether to include the invoice page as well.
- Print one SKU at a time, tick several low-volume SKUs and print them together, or download everything as one PDF.
Why sort by SKU
When you pick and pack, it is faster to handle all orders of one product together than to jump between products. Grouping by SKU also makes it obvious how many units of each you need to pull from the shelf.
FBA labels are different
Labels for stock you send to an Amazon warehouse (FBA) are FNSKU barcode labels, not shipping labels. Use the FBA Label Generator for those.
