Word to PDF converts a .docx file into a clean, paginated PDF without leaving your browser. Headings, bold and italic text, bulleted and numbered lists, simple tables and inline images are carried over. Your document is never uploaded to a server.
A PDF looks the same on every phone, laptop and printer, which is why résumés, invoices, assignments and contracts are usually sent as PDF rather than as an editable Word file. Converting normally means opening Word or uploading the document to a website you know nothing about. Here the conversion happens on your own device, so a résumé or a signed contract never leaves it.

The converter reads the document structure, then lays out the text on A4 pages with sensible margins, wrapping lines to the page width and starting a new page when one is full. Bold and italic runs, headings of different levels, lists and images are preserved.
Be aware of what it does not do. It is not a full copy of Microsoft Word's layout engine, so complex designs with text boxes, multiple columns, headers and footers or custom fonts are simplified. The built-in PDF fonts cover Latin characters only, so text in Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and other scripts is replaced with question marks. For those documents, use Word's own Save as PDF.
Only the newer .docx format is supported. If you have an old .doc file, open it in Word or Google Docs and save it as .docx first.
