Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ConvertPDFWordJPG (“we”, “us”, “the site”, at convertpdfwordjpg.com) handles when you use our free online tools. The short version: your files stay on your device.

1. Your files

The tools on this site (merge, split, compress, convert, label tools and others) run entirely in your web browser. When you choose a file, it is read and processed by code running on your own device. Your files, and the results, are not uploaded to our servers and are not sent to any third party. When you close or reload the page, the data is gone.

2. Information we do not collect

There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or payment details in order to use a tool, and we do not read or store the content of your documents, images, labels or invoices.

3. Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may record standard technical information when a page is requested, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It uses cookies and similar identifiers and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. It never includes the contents of your files, which stay on your device. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, analytics storage is off by default until consent is given. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. Cookies and advertising

The site is free and may show advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners, as third-party vendors, use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites.

• You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.

• You can also control or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop the tools from working.

5. Third-party resources

Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser details when the font is requested. Third-party services we use have their own privacy policies.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA and UK, or state privacy laws in the United States), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect personal data from tool use, there is usually little to disclose, but you can contact us and we will help.

7. Children

The site is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Because your files never leave your device, they cannot be intercepted on their way to a server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so keep your own devices and browser up to date.
