TXT to PDF

TXT to PDF converts any plain text — pasted or loaded from a .txt file — into a properly paginated PDF. Lines wrap to the page width, long documents flow across pages, and you pick the font and size. It all happens inside your browser, so notes, logs and drafts never leave your device.

Plain text is the most portable format there is, but it is a poor way to share a document: fonts and line breaks change from one app to the next, and a .txt attachment looks unfinished. A PDF fixes that. Whatever you send looks identical on a phone, a laptop or a printer, which is why people convert meeting notes, code listings, log files, poems and receipts to PDF before sharing.

This converter measures every word against the real width of the chosen font, so lines break where they should instead of running off the page. Blank lines are preserved, so paragraphs stay paragraphs. Very long unbroken strings, such as URLs or hashes, are split safely rather than clipped. Pages are A4 with comfortable margins, ready to print.

Choose Helvetica for a clean sans-serif look, Times for a traditional document, or Courier when alignment matters, for example when converting code or a fixed-width table. Because the file is generated locally with the pdf-lib library, there is no upload step and nothing to wait for: the PDF is ready the moment you press the button.

One honest limit: the standard fonts built into PDF cover Latin characters only. Text in Hindi, Arabic, Chinese and other scripts cannot be drawn with them and will appear as question marks. For those, convert through a word processor instead.
